* Entry fee of $40.00 payable to the Casey County Apple Festival is due no later than 5:00 pm September 15, 2008, NO EXCEPTIONS. NO refunds will be given.
* Contestants must be single, never married, nor had a child. Contestants must be enrolled in an accredited Kentucky School. A contestant must have reached her 13th birthday and may not have reached her 16th birthday October 31, 2008.
* Contestants will compete in 3 categories: Interview, Sportswear, and Formal Wear.
• Interview - is contestants choice.
• Sportswear - Blue jean shorts, any color soliod tee shirt, white gym shoes.
• Formal Wear - contestants choice of floor length evening gown.
* Practice will be held September 20, 2008 at the Casey County High School Gym. Practice is mandatory.
* Check-in will be from 4:00 pm EST the day of the pageant. Interviews will begin at 4:45 pm.
* One adult will receive free admission per contestant.
* A dressing area will be provided for contestants, and only one person will be allowed in the dressing room with each contestant.
* Prizes will be awarded 4th - 1st Runner-up, and one winner will be crowned Miss Teen Casey County Apple Festival 2008. Miss Congeniality as voted on by the contestants.
* The contestant crowned Miss Teen Casey Co. Apple Festival will go on to represent the Casey County Apple Festival this October at state pageant in Louiseville.
* If the winner is not a resident of Casey County, A contestant from Casey County will be crowned to reign over the events of the Apple Festival for the week. This contestant will not attend the state pageant.
* Score sheets will be calculated by interview 40%, Sportswear 20%, and Formal Wear 40%. From this we will get our top 10, then these will get a comparative judging score to be added to their original score. The contestant with the highest score over all will be our 2008 winner.
* If contestants want their score sheets, please bring a self addressed stamped envelope with them the day of the practice.
