Apple Festival Pageant 2008

*Entry fee is $40 payable to the Casey County Apple Festival. Fee is non refundable. Entry Fee must be received by deadline.
*Deadline for entries is Sept. 13. Late fee of $80 accepted until Sept. 20.
*Applications can be mailed to Betty Price 3103 South U. S. 127 Liberty, Ky 42539 or dropped off at Kathy's Flowers in Liberty, Ky.
*Contestants must be single, never married, or never had children. They must be enrolled in an accredited Kentucky School System. A contestant must have reached her 8th birthday by July 31, and may not have reached her 13th birthday by October 31, 2008.
*Contestants will compete in 3 categories: Interview, Sportswear and Formal Wear.
*Interview attire is of contestant's choice, (Dress, pantsuit, capris, etc.)
* Sportswear attire consists of red soffe shorts, white tennis shoes and solid white T-shirt.
*Formal wear attire must be age appropriate, floor length dress of contestant's choice.
*Practice will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 20th at the Casey County High School Gym.
It is mandatory that all contestants be there.
*Check in is at 4:00 p.m. the day of the pageant, and interviews will begin at 4:30.
*Dressing area will be provided, and only 1 person allowed in the dressing area with each contestant. One adult will receive FREE admission to the pageant per contestant.
*JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
*Prizes will be awarded to fourth runner-up through first runner-up, and one winner.
Miss Congeniality, and is voted on by the contestants.
* The contestant crowned Miss Preteen Casey County Apple Festival will go on to represent
the Casey Apple Festival at the state pageant, October 17 and 18, 2008.
*If winner is not a resident of Casey County, a contestant from Casey County will be crowned to reign over the events of the Apple Festival for the week. This contestant will not attend the state pageant.
*To receive score sheets bring a stamped- addressed envelope.
