The 35th Casey County Apple Festival will be held in downtown Liberty, Kentucky September 19-26, 2009.The festival features some 200 vendors displaying arts and crafts, food and flea market booths, plus various pageants. There's also free live musical entertainment, children's and youth contests, food, parade, and a carnival.

Come help us capture the spirit of a hometown, homecoming celebration that has something for the entire family. The show pieces of the festival are the 10-foot giants produced each year. On Wednesday night IGA of Liberty will bake a 10-foot chocolate cookie followed by a 10-foot pizza on Thursday night, sponsored by Pizza Hut of Liberty, and of course don't forget the 10-foot apple pie baked from scratch and served free to the public on Saturday.

The festival is held annually the 4th weekend of September.
